SMC Laboratories, Inc. is a Tokyo-based nonclinical Contract Research Organization (CRO) that specializes in research on fibrosis and inflammation. We have more than 700 clients which include pharmaceutical companies, universities, and national medical institutions, and have assisted with clinical trial applications for more than 10 pipeline drugs, mainly for nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).

SMC Global Asset, Inc. is developing a new support framework that focuses on large-scale investment in social business in developing countries. This involves active engagement and business investment in these countries to achieve the dynamic growth anticipated.

SMC Global Asset, Inc. helps Japanese enterprises expand overseas by leveraging the expertise that we have accumulated through global expansion centered on Japan and the United States. We support Japanese companies aiming to expand overseas by helping with surveys of the local target market, developing business and marketing strategies, and carrying out customer research in overseas markets. We have particular expertise in the North American market, where we have accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise, developed networks, and established structures that support an extensive range of requirements.
